Wes had gotten sick. No one could figure out what was wrong... and it went on and on. Relatives began to wonder if Indian medicine was involved. More than his physical illness though, Wes had a spiritual sickness... and it's consequences were far greater than his poor health.

"I went up to the car and snatched the car door open and told him get out. Well when he got out, he came out with a 357 magnum. And when he pulled the gun the buddies I had left me and I'm standing there by myself. And he placed the gun on my forehead, and he cocked it, and he said I will blow your brains out. Me - I didn't care... I didn't care."

Don was born on the Tuscarora reservation in New York. His parents split up when he was young and for a time ended up living off the reservation. He was also acquainted with the unique sport of Fire Ball. As you'll hear, those were interesting days. But the most significant event of his life took place at camp.

A miracle happened the day. Everything changed. Some might say that he chose the white man's religion. Gary says no. Jesus came for all people. The change that came into his life, and the life of his family - is pretty challenging evidence to ignore.

One of the most difficult events in life is when someone close to you dies. The sting of death is especially painful when it comes unexpectedly. This was the case in Deloris' life when she lost her brother. She shares candidly about her loss and the sober reality that she came to regarding her own readiness for death.

Dorothy grew up in Sweetwater, Arizona on the Navajo reservation where she lived without running and electricity. She tells about how they used to dress up rocks pretending they were dolls. As an adult she got involved in a bad marriage. It was very difficult. But her faith in Jesus helped her through. Now she encourages others who have problems.

Gus was from old Iliamna Village. He speaks of how life was back in the old days. They lived off the land without the conveniences of modern day Alaska. It was tough, and some didn't make it. Gus recalls a missionary by the name of Don Stump who had a significant influence on him and Gus had a high regard for this man. Don encouraged Gus to accept the Lord Jesus because it was the only way one could get to heaven. But, Gus didn't believe him.

Albert's heart was hard... by his own admission. He had a hateful feeling towards anyone who would try to speak to him about Jesus. He was mean to his wife who was a Christian. He even burned her Bible. But through it all, she stuck with him, and prayed for Albert. His sons began to follow his lead to the bottle, and his life was empty. One day a preacher asked him, "Who do you think you are?" That got his attention. Listen as Albert shares about how change came into his life.

Many youth have come to the conclusion that there is no purpose or meaning in life. And because of that, they see no reason for living. Mindy was one of those young people, but something happened to her brother that caught her attention, and then it wasn't long till she had a change of heart.

"I wanted to go do these drugs cause I hadn't done them for quite some time and it was time for me to do them again. I used to go on three-day binges. I would disappear and my wife and kids didn't know where I was. They didn't know if I was dead or alive or nothing." Listen as Paul shares his battle with addiction and how it finally came to an end.
