The Straight Cut

This week we have on Caleb, better known on IG as @straycigarreviews. We talk about how he goes about reviews and what future plans might hold. The music this week we actually liked and enjoyed, and we discuss if gossip can be good during MDB.

For the second review of August we are smoking the J. London Gold Series Lancero from the Luxury Cigar Club August box. First break is at 11:55, second break is at 26:45. Total smoking time was 1:16:00.

This week we have Nick from My Monthly Cigar back on, along with Dave from Martinez Cigars. We smoke the 45 Maduro and the New York City blend on an episode where we learn the history on cigar manufacturing in NYC and some breaking news dealing with the big fall sweepstakes is slipped in. We also take a big ol dump on each others music choice this week and MDB gets dark.

For the first review of the month we smoked the Gran Habano Corojo #5 Maduro. Aaron's pick for the month, and this cigar leads to some interesting discussions. First break at 14:51, second break at 37:24 and total smoke time of 1:24:00.

We have Tim and Brandon from Down To The Nub on this week. We talk about their prize pack, what they like about podcasting and what drives them to create content for all the amazing people in this community. This week we welcome The Good Cigar to the show. This episode is full of behind the scene talk, delta blues music and of course cigars. We smoke the Partagas Black while The good cigar smoked the Nova.

After a run of episodes with tons of great guests, we just sit and catch up on some stuff this week. We talk about how the shop is going, cigars we have been smoking a lot of lately and some news involving our show and The Collective Smoke. The Crux Epicure Maduro was on the docket this episode.

This review comes from the Luxury Cigar Club July box. Aaron, Mark and Josh light up the Valacari Mark V Moon Valley while talking about old friend cigars. Those cigars that used to be in our normal rotation but haven't picked up in a while that we are smoking again. First break is 17:10, Second break is 33:17. Total smoking time is 1:38:00.
