Over my many years of coaching, counseling, mentoring, and pastoring, I have found that most individuals find themselves performing at a level below what they are truly capable of, AND, experiencing results in life far beneath what God intended.

Why? There are unreconciled, unresolved areas in their heart and life that must be addressed so that they can be unlocked, unleashed, and unhindered in their pursuit of fulfillment and meaning.

In this episode, we will look at this critical cornerstone called Personal Healing.

Most of you know that my background is that of a teacher/trainer. In fact, for more than 25 years I have been in classrooms, on stages, and in training environments developing leaders and influencers from all walks of life.

There is really nothing that energizes me more than training, mentoring, and coaching people.

As we enter the 4th quarter of 2018, I am gearing my work towards doing more of what I do best ... teaching!

So many strive for stability and normalcy, but what they are actually doing is sentencing themselves to stagnation and lifelessness.

69% of the world’s population values STABILITY above progress. Said another way, they would rather maintain the status quo that move forward or upward in life. You’ve heard me say this many times ... “Living things grow, and growing things change”.

In this episode, we look at the very subtle and, sometimes deceptive differences between maintaining stability and becoming stagnant. We'll also look at signs and indicators of being stagnant, and how you can break free from the pattern and begin moving again.

This is our FIRST episode back after a summer sabbatical. In this episode, I want to update you on our journey, share some changes with you, and give you a very transparent look at how the Holmes family is navigating seasons of change and progress.

It should be expected that each of us will experience multiple transitions and major life-changes over the course of time. My hope is to help you learn how to strategically and effectively navigate transition and set yourself up for success down the road.

This week we're going to talk about the final stage of transition: Deployment or Re-engagement.

I've been sharing about transition, which happens to be one of my favorite topics to explore, primarily because of my own personal journey and what I've learned about change.

We've unpacked discontent and disconnect, and today we're on to the third stage: discovery.

In every season of transition, the goal is to move from what is known to something fresh, new, more. Last week I shared how discontent, the first stage of transition, does not work against you, but rather works for you in moving to your next level.

Disconnect is the second stage and the one we're diving deep into today.

In my own journey over the last 6 years, I've learned a lot about transition. It's never "easy" and takes some intentionality to navigate successfully.

What I've discovered is: there are 4 distinct stages of transition. What are they, and where does your present circumstance fall in with them?

We've talked about where you want to be, what might be preventing you from getting there, what gets you super motivated, and now it's time to drill down again...
