For the last five years, I’ve been on the air every Saturday from 11–1PM CST on WWL Radio, the largest radio station in the Greater New Orleans area.And this week, that season came to an end.
In this episode, I share why I made the decision to step away from the WWL Home Improvement Show, what the opportunity meant to me, the unexpected impact it had on my Real Estate career, and the business lessons I learned about seasons, metrics, credibility, and calendar control.
This was not a dramatic exit.
It was not a falling out.
It was a strategic decision rooted in growth.
Over the years, I:
Answered live Real Estate questions from callers across Louisiana and the Gulf Coast
Helped listeners navigate hurricane recovery, insurance claims, and complicated property issues
Built credibility as a Solutions-Based Real Estate Investor
Met sellers, industry professionals, and long-time listeners in person
Bought properties directly from radio listeners
Balanced conferences, travel, and even hurricane evacuations while still showing up on air
But as my business evolves and my content strategy expands, I had to evaluate something many entrepreneurs avoid:
Where is my time best invested?
Radio builds credibility.
Digital builds measurable leverage.
And when you’re in a season of growth, clarity matters.
