By trusting in the strength and grace of Christ that is flowing through us, we are delivered from having to trust in our own ability in our life with the Father. Zerubabbel learned this lesson while he was working on the rebuilding of the temple in Jerusalem, together with the returning exiles. Through the prophetic ministry of Zechariah and Haggai, he learned that the work would not be accomplished through human power or might, but by the Spirit of the Lord. God often works with small beginnings to accomplish powerful things in the Kingdom of God.
