A big part of the storied history of the club is a man by the name of Bob Ford. He is the most decorated PGA professional to have ever graced our industry and today I get to meet him. I feel very blessed to be afforded the opportunity to interview him. Join me as we learn together from one of the greats in the game of golf. 

I understand that people enjoy the game for a lot of different reasons, but there is one reason in particular that poses the biggest threat to the traditions of the game. Unlike every other sport golf has a handicapping system that allows players of all abilities to compete against each other.  What happens when a player plays bad on purpose. What happens when a player realizes that it is financially beneficial to play poorly now so that he can benefit from it in future matches. "Sandbagging"  or baggers as we lovingly refer to them are the embodiment of everything that is wrong with amateur golf. I welcome Mr. Tom Bishop on to the show as we talk the morality and ethics of padding ones handicap. Is the handicap system failing us or are we failing the system. Thanks for Listening!
