Johnny Bailey has been hustling since he was a 4 sport high school athlete. After graduating he built a resume that landed him with Nike, at the time his dream job.

Through working in his community he saw the racial economic wealth gap becoming a major problem, so he did something about it. With his organization the ShineHard Foundation (@shinehardfam) he’s helped thousands of entrepreneurs and students. Now a Google Digital Coach, Johnny is giving entrepreneurs the tools to close the gap through digital inclusion.

Cornell “Chico” Conaway wanted to make sure his daughter would have a deep understanding of music, so from a young age, he taught her about the classics.

One day he decided to challenge her to remember lyrics and within a few hours she had it down. Chico recorded the video of he and his daughter, Brook,e rapping to Run DMC and they knew they had something special.

Several song covers later and amassing popularity. Both Chico and Brooke are beginning their careers in entertainment. Chico is also the CEO of the fitness apparel line Gainz Sports Gear

Chef Anthony Thomas discusses his career thus far and how it’s shaped him as a dad in episode 3.

While in college Chef Anthony was diagnosed with Arteriovenous Malformation, an incredibly rare condition affecting blood flow to the brain. Luckily doctors caught the disorder early, but that health scare led Anthony to redefine his life.

In 2009 he picked up a camera and started documenting his journey of crafting healthy meals for himself. After friends and family tried his meals, he knew he had something special.

Fast forward to now and Chef Anthony, who is self-taught mind you, has amassed a following on social media, catered huge events, wrote four books, and had a line of products and services.

In Episode 2 Shaun Purefoy reveals what it’s like to have your family go viral. In 2016 the Purefoy family had a photo shoot to introduce their new baby boy to the world. One of the images they posted to Facebook was widely shared. This led to a write up from media company Bossip on how the Purefoy family is #blackfamilygoals.
