Episode two starts off with a lot of high energy then Doug calms it down by breaking down a soulful R&B song. He takes a deep dive in PJ Morton's cover of "How Deep Is Your Love." He gets pretty vulnerable by focusing on Snoh Aalegrah's new album "Ugh those feels again....."

On the first episode of "The Struggle Plate Podcast" Doug introduces the show to a brand new audience.  Every week he'll break down underrated Hip-Hop and R&B songs to the core! This he broke down the title track to Rapsody's grammy nominated album "Laila's Wisdom."

He focuses on Rapsody channeling her ancestors, and how she used strong black women as her inspiration.
