EP.8  Breaking Old Family Hunting Traditions! The Struggling Hunters Hunting Podcast

The fellas talk about the end of turkey in their Colorado and Utah hunting areas.  They are disappointed they weren't successful as they reflect on this 2020 spring turkey season but at the same time they felt they learned a lot and they go over the accessories they are going to get ready for the next turkey hunting season. The biggest take away for the boys is they are addicted to turkey hunting.  Eric talks about his second chance draw in Colorado and his hopes to draw for a mule deer.  Joe goes into how he wants to put in for a antler-less permit draw.  They go into a few old hunt stories you don't want to miss.  They also talk about getting into scouting for their elk and deer.  They talk about solo hunts vs. hunting with buddies.  Eric and Joe are also looking forward to do some lake fishing this summer.  The fellas go into what they have had for hunting cloths since high school and how they work around a budget to get their newer hunting equipment.  Toward the end of the podcast they talk about new gadgets out on the market for spotting scopes and hunting scopes.

EP. 7 New Hunters & Thank You Military! The Struggling Hunters Podcast

In this hunting podcast Joe & Eric shout out to the military and they thank them for their service.  Their service made this podcast possible because we live in the freest country in the world.  Their sacrifice to this country cant and won't be forgotten.  The fellas also broke down what a first time hunter may need to bring with them on their first deer hunt in the backwoods.  They did express to try to have a hunting mentor to go with and have someone that knows where your at.  Whether through onX maps or on google earth.  Also they talked about how to get prepared for a back country hunt.

 Today on The Struggling Hunters Eric got to use his Kodiak Canvas tents for the fist time this year which had him excited to talk about. Joe and Eric go over their Dream hunts as Joe talks about doing a multiple day back country hunt and Eric wants a Moose hunt in Alaska.  They get a little deep when they answer some questions they asked each other.  The podcast got a little personal when asked about what underwear they sported as kids.  This is the sixth pod cast the fellas have done their fast improvement as been getting them more attention as the podcasts keep getting pumped out.
