2020 has provided its fair share of challenges and unprecedented events which have had and continue to have global ramifications for us all. It is in these trying times however, that we have seen hope, resilience, and key movements take monumental steps towards creating a new societal norm, and long running activism is finally starting to push the envelope with the majority taking notice. As our world society transforms, so to does our media and the programs we consume, representations is no longer an afterthought but instead at the forefront of all major productions, it is championed and rightly so, and we're starting to see representation of all communities across every line. Local Melbourne Artist Georgia Steele has developed quite the reputation amongst the Australian Printmaking Scene. With positions of the Australian Printmaking Council, a number of Residencies and Internships both locally and around the world, and a thriving social media presence. Georgia has staked her claim as one of Australia's artists to watch. As she continues to develop she's turned her hand to teaching, as well as the art of Curating, where she will undertake a Honours degree in Curatorial Studies at her Alma Mater RMIT in 2021. 

During lockdown, Georgia has stayed active by working and developing new works and refining her style in her home studio. With her latest series on Monochrome Prints sure to turn some heads.

What is Professional Wrestling? Well you might think of Fake fighting and predetermined results, but it goes much much deeper than that. There is a common link between the art of Professional Wrestling and the Theatre, from archetypical stories that have been told since the beginning of time in the greek tragedies of old to the renaissance works of Commedia Dell'Arte. Yes, Professional Wrestling is an art form with blocking, and storytelling and fables that hark back to our core, humble human beginnings. This week we dive deep into this world with fellow Actor, Friend and Wrestling Aficionado, James Bolton.
