The Student Founder Journey: Adithya Ramaswami and Jack Murray, ParaWave
The Student Founder Journey, a series of episodes presented by the Keenan Center for Entrepreneurship, follows the bold entrepreneurial pursuits of students and young alumni at The Ohio State University. In this episode, we are joined by Adithya Ramaswami and Jack Murry from ParaWave (formerly FireFight Aero).
ParaWave is part of the first-ever President’s Buckeye Accelerator (PBA). Six student ventures were chosen for the year-long accelerator and will advance their startup for launch with a $50,000 award.
ParaWave is developing drone technology to gather and communicate critical information for emergency response. Ramaswami and Murray founded ParaWave as undergraduate students in the College of Engineering. Their collective mission is to help save the lives of emergency responders and the people in their community.
In this episode, Ramaswami and Murray give insight into how their business partnership developed as classmates at Ohio State. They share how ParaWave took flight in the pre-accelerator Boost Camp and has continued to progress in the accelerator. The episode is hosted by Jack Considine, a second-year finance major.
