I am going to side eye LeanFIRE here, because is it really FIRE if any little emergency or life change would derail you?

Here they are:

1. Do not spend money you do not have

2. Always invest while in debt

3. Get a good partner

4. Don’t just save, invest your money too

5. Invest in index funds not individual stocks 

6. Don’t gamble on individual stocks with money you can’t lose

7. Do not invest in the next hottest thing you hear

8. Make conscious spending choices

9. Have an emergency fund

10. If you are in debt, you are your own charity

11. Keep things simple

12. Track your spending

13. Don’t ever lend money to people

14. Your money is YOUR money

15. Live your life in a balance

I homeschooled from grades 1-3, and these are my thoughts, why I did it, pros and cons.

When will you feel like you have enough? At what point are you mentally free? Or is it financially free? Or completely 100% free?

There are many thresholds - mine was just to be financially free even if it was spending very little, and being super petty that I would never have to work again.
