A quick and effective guide
No matter if you are an agent or are planning on getting your license sometime soon, this book has some great insight on how to sell land like the best land agents out there. Pat Porter a broker for one of the leading land brokerages in the southeast, discusses the seven characteristics thatâs common to almost every listing and sell. While this book is short, it packs a lot of information into only a few pages. Mr. Porter also shows how to separate yourself from the rest of the real estate agents out there with real life examples from the parcels of land heâs sold all over the south. I appreciated the conciseness of guideâitâs clear and easy to follow. Plus. it offers encouragement to anyone who is considering getting into land sales which, as a Realtor I will say iis much more rewarding and enjoyable than home sales.
Great Book: Essential read for learning the right skills, characteristics, and traits of a successful land agent or novice.
This is a no-nonsense book that is centralized on the right type of characteristics and values that the most successful land agents embody. If you are a sole proprietor, land agent, or novice to selling land I recommend reading this book. The author provides the reader with realistic expectations, true success stories, and examples of how to successfully sell land. These same characteristics, well practiced skills, and traits help define who the agent/seller is by their actions. In turn, this can lead not only to one successful sale but can be a multiplier for repeat customers, repeat sales, and a lasting reputation.
This book hits all the right target areas and keeps the reader moving page by page. I honestly can say that the authors straight forward approach makes reading this book a great experience. It is also filled with many facts and key points which makes every penny spent well worth it. Will definitely be keeping this book in my personal collection.

A lot of powerful information crammed into a very small package that you will want to have as a reference book at all times. If you are an agent or broker and want to lear the best practices of buying and selling land then this little gem will come in handy. Mr. Porter once again has done an outstanding job of teaching his craft in an easy to read and understand book.
