Today in James 2:14-26 we cover the most important subject of faith and how it relates to works. To understand the definition of faith as defined in Scripture as conviction, to strongly believe, and assurance is to then understand the point of this word being a verb! This also is where the connection of works is involved in that this word is defined as activity, the action of doing or being. This is section of scripture is not dealing with salvation, or, being saved or lost. This is dealing with how believers interact with the Lord and how they serve within His Kingdom.
