Keeping in line with "reset definitions" as explained in Ep 7, this episode explains socialism in broad terms to contrast with freedom and the free market. The primary reason socialism fails is because it is NOT voluntary. When majority rules, the minorities suffer and choices are reduced.

Using the thought example of toilet paper development, the benefits of voluntary cooperation in the free market are explained. Voting with our dollars (purchases) is a much better system than what socialism can offer because most people get what they want most of the time. Those who are not satisfied have the freedom to create what they want.
