Also, the expression which begins with "self-hating" gave me a flashback to my younger days when I didn't get along with other Koreans that well. Self-hating Korean is code for another ethnicity.

In Thucydides' "Justice, Power, and Human Nature" is the funeral speech of Pericles, a leader of Athens at the start of the Peloponnesian War against primarily Sparta. It's a very interesting speech and worth a look today. It is interesting also because of some of the news stories, aka Propaganda, of the day.

We are moving further and further away from this mentality in spite of electing a president who was himself heavily censored. Also, today in my 7th grade history class we read about Tecumseh's War.
