So, the news today on the picks for the new Trump administration is not that good, depressing really. But hope springs eternal in the Subjective Professor's mind. :) On that tack, I thought I would share a story that always makes me smile, how I got booted from the Honors Program Faculty.

As we wait for Trump's picks for his cabinet and administration, I thought I would talk about the "typical" Trump voter in contrast to the "typical" Kamala voter. Hope it entertains. Sunday, Jesus Day.  Talking a little about wisdom today. Where does it come from and how does one get some of that action? It is impossible to fake and buy/sell. But by the grace of God, we can be wise.

I can't find where I said it before (was it in my head?) but I thought I said that Trump looks like he's in "martyr" mode. He's willing to suffer even die for his belief in America.  I hope I am right and that we need this to get us through the debt crisis in the most "Austrian Economics understanding" way possible. Let's Go!

Harris supporters are largely silent while Trump supporters are filled with the euphoria of vindication. How much of that is Hopium (hope fill endorphin rush) and how much is based on a reasonable understanding of what is coming financially and economically? This episode tosses around some thoughts on Emotion and Logic; can't get more extreme than that.  As was once said in a movie, "We have work to do."

I woke up this morning and found out that Trump had won. 20 million or so Democrats who "voted" 4 years ago didn't show up, huh, how about that? I am seriously surprised. But I'm not sad. This is opportunity... and this episode discusses some of the interesting things that are already happening. Enjoy with Hope.

Election night. I'm going to figure most people won't have time to listen to this episode, so I just have a few thoughts to share and explain why I think freedom is on the ballot.

Ron Paul had an exchange with Elon Musk over the weekend and it was glorious. I talk about that and a little about the election on November 5.  How it will go is anyone's guess, but will we have a storybook ending?? Exciting times.

Sunday, Jesus Day. Some time for some reflection and preaching. Inspired by current events... for what is it that people hope? Where does hope come from and should believers be any different? And IF we have the hope of God's calling, what do we do while we are still in the world? Hopefully, I answer these questions today, or at least give you a starting point for your own journey in Hope. Peace.

I will have to post about the Vance/Rogan episode next week, I'm just a bit beat from a long day at the school.  Instead, we talk about the beauty of the Free Market. It's kind of like the beauty in nature. We did nothing except notice and observe it. I discuss a few concepts which makes the beauty possible.
