I gave my special speech today. I am happy to say, I don't think I offended anyone. I tried to focus on a topic that would benefit everyone, no matter their age, educational level, and cultural background. Getting good information to solve our individual problems. We are unique after all.

I have to say I'm not surprised Musk is against the new Big Beautiful Bill because it is full of waste, fraud, and abuse, the very things DOGE was trying to stop. Good for him and for people who still have a shred of integrity left. Some subjective thoughts on the matter.

Still fighting a cold, but I wanted to follow up on yesterday's episode with another way of shifting subjectivity in order to access more information. I have discussed it before on other episodes but in the context of a greater topic.

Hearing the news of the day (the drone attacks in Russia), I thought I would discuss the idea of using multiple perspectives to try to get a handle on what happened and what might happen next. Other people probably talk about multiple perspectives, but this is the way I do it.

With all the calls for price fixing and manipulation through government edict, I thought I would do an episode on prices. The Soviet Union did not have price discovery and thus became an immoral country. We are certainly headed in that direction.

I was asked to give a speech at our Middle School moving up ceremony, aka graduation. I thought I would talk about "change." But change doesn't just happen once in life. Life is all about change to the point that the only thing that does not change is change. How do we live in a life where there are no permanent reference points? hmm

"Something Must be Done!!" Well, sure... we all are confronted with that challenge all the time. We must take care when it is the gov't who asks and answers that challenge. Nothing good can come from it. Three years ago, I had an exchange on FB with a genius friend of mine who remembers me from my more "happy go lucky and mindless" phase of my life. I share that exchange and conclude with some thoughts.
