Going over the Inaugural speech of Donald Trump. I was surprised to like most of it. I go over the whole speech but skip as many of the platitudes as possible. It was a very interesting speech. And... Ross Ulbricht is free!

I watched part 1 of Atlas Shrugged and thought I would give you something else to listen to other than the inauguration of Trump. Ayn Rand wrote the novel of the same title, and I thought I would share some thoughts.

I'm doing my Martin Luther King Jr (MLK) Episode ahead of the Martin Luther King Jr holiday on Monday. I want to talk about his "I have a Dream" speech which he gave in 1963. In other words, I want to focus on the message, not the messenger.

Saw a news story the other day at school about how Medical debt will no longer be included in credit checks for lenders. Then a passing thought heard on the Judge Nap interview with Col Lawrence Wilkerson - something I have not heard anywhere else. Finally, I am a member of a family of "trouble makers." It's a cool story... at least from by POV.

A little break from current event commentary with a lesson from the 7th grade history textbook I'm using. Today we read about the Boston Tea Party. The way the text described the Party led to a 40 minute discussion. I'm sure they were hanging on every word.

It seems that every time I look at my news feed, there's bad news. And my hope that Trump would do right by his campaign promises... well, it's on life support. In light of that, we should focus on being one's best.

Sunday is Jesus day on this channel. We are going to look at Repentance; that is, a kind of admission of being wrong. Some of us have a hard time with this... but we shouldn't.
