ROAD TO KNOW WHERE

JANUARY 09, 2021      AARON SMITH      SEASON 1      EPISODE 12

SHOW NOTES:

In Episode #12, we start exploring the conditions Professor Mattias Desmet has outlined as necessary for the onset of Mass Formation. As we dig deeper into the topic, I share some evaluations of the first two conditions, based on my own research. Professor Desmet has been making more appearances and his work is being brought to the forefront as we see the pandemic narrative starting to lose its grip. I also give a more in-depth explanation of the Smith-Mundt Modernization Act of 2012.

THE SHOW MUST GO ON

JANUARY 02, 2021      AARON SMITH      SEASON 1      EPISODE 11

SHOW NOTES:

In Episode #11, I give a synopsis of the material covered thus far and address the need for reflection in our lives. The constant assault of stimuli that we are subjected to—and that we subject ourselves to—can compromise our ability to reason and rob us of important introspection.

Happy New Year! Who knows what's around the corner? Join me in skeptical optimism. But remember, whatever comes our way, none of us are ever alone. There is always help at hand.

THEY BLINDED US WITH SCIENCE

DECEMBER 26, 2021      AARON SMITH      SEASON 1      EPISODE 10

SHOW NOTES:

In Episode #10, I discuss the definition and practical reality of scientism. Unlike the pragmatic, valuable, and necessary use of the scientific method to discover truths about our natural world, scientism is a belief that the natural sciences are the only way that we can know anything about life. It excludes all other forms of inquiry and has become a tool of technocrats who are trying to control the flow of information and pervert the search for truth.

WHAT'S THE FREQUENCY PASCAL?

DECEMBER 19, 2021      AARON SMITH      SEASON 1      EPISODE 9

SHOW NOTES:

It's almost Christmas, so I thought it appropriate to spend Episode #9 discussing the meaning of this holiday and the various systems we use to organize our lives. Less structured and more personal is the tack I took here.

Merry Christmas, everyone. I hope you all have loved ones to share it with. And if you don't celebrate Christmas, I hope you at least take some time to connect with others. There are no links to show notes today, just well wishes. Happy Holidays.

MARK IT A RONA SMOKY

DECEMBER 12, 2021      AARON SMITH      SEASON 1      EPISODE 8

SHOW NOTES:

In Episode #8, we embark on a thought experiment related to the pandemic, discuss some CDC guidance on reporting deaths related to COVID, and talk about some of the less mentioned aspects of the situation we find ourselves in. I share my own experience with the disease and reflect on the way our perceptions have changed over the last two years. I know we are all becoming weary with the ongoing situation. The media have chosen to avoid some of this information in order to preserve a narrative of fear. It is incumbent on us to sift and winnow through the available information to separate perceived risk and actual risk.

THE SAFETY DANCE

DECEMBER 05, 2021      AARON SMITH      SEASON 1      EPISODE 7

SHOW NOTES:

We ask in Episode #7: What is the cost of making safety the primary goal of our lives? This episode engages that question and evaluates current observable trends in society that reflect the prioritization of safety above all else. How safe is safe enough?

COME ON BABY LIGHT MY TORCH

NOVEMBER 28, 2021      AARON SMITH      SEASON 1      EPISODE 6

SHOW NOTES:

In Episode #6, we tackle the difference between persuasion and propaganda. To do that subject justice, we must take a look at Edward Bernays and explore some of his devious contributions to the propaganda that infects our world. Being able to recognize propaganda is a must if we are to break away from its subversive, often-undetected influence in our lives. I really think you'll find this episode helpful to your journey.

STICKS AND STONES

NOVEMBER 21, 2021      AARON SMITH      SEASON 1      EPISODE 5

SHOW NOTES:

Episode #5 focuses on the importance of words. Language can be used to build up or to tear down, to free us or to enslave us. In this episode, I share some quotes whose powerful words caught my eye. You'll find these quotes and many more at https://www.azquotes.com, a website I read often and enjoy.

AVERSION TO COERCION

NOVEMBER 14, 2021      AARON SMITH      SEASON 1      EPISODE 4

SHOW NOTES:

In Episode #4, we take a look at the COVID-19 vaccine mandates and how the Nuremburg Code may apply to them. We dig into a few scientific papers related to the topic and also consider the ethical implications of coercive techniques being employed by governments and corporations. We recognize that this is a difficult and nuanced subject that has divided many people. It is not possible to present an exhaustive analysis of the issue. My intentions are only to bring some things to light that have not been covered adequately, if at all, by mainstream media. Hopefully this episode will help give you some new perspectives to consider.

STEP BACK TECHNOCRAT

NOVEMBER 09, 2021      AARON SMITH      SEASON 1

SHOW NOTES:

This between-formal-episodes show came out of the blue and took me by surprise. There are moments when I feel prompted to speak then and there. I can't possibly wait until the promised date of my next scheduled podcast to say what's on my mind! I had one of those moments tonight. That's why you'll find this episode to be more of a running commentary on my recent observations than a look at a specific topic. In it, I share a little more about my background and about the passion that has inspired me to begin this endeavor.

I sincerely appreciate the feedback I have received, including the constructive criticism. Your contributions to the show make this possible. If you're interested in submitting your artwork for episodes, I would be happy to check it out and will post it! The next formal episode will be released, as scheduled, on Sunday, November 14th.
