Why Am I Not Yet a Millionaire

In the second part of this weeks show, Chris and Suzanne Styles teach a hard hitting lesson on why you aren’t achieving your Goals

I want to share with you what Harv teaches on just FIVE of his cards – thank you Harv – do yourself a favour, attend one of his events and buy yourself the deck of cards. Now, as you read the lessons below keep referring back to the three points above and just connect the dots in your mind – this is not rocket science – this is about doing the basics right.

 

Card 1: BE THE BEST AT WHAT YOU DO – To get paid the best, you must be the best. Rich people are experts in their field, middle-class people are mediocre in their field, and poor people are poor in their field.

 

Card 2: SOLVE PROBLEMS FOR PEOPLE – A person in any business or job is nothing more than someone who solves problems for people at a profit or for pay. To get paid more, solve more problems for more people.

 

Card 3: GET PAID FOR RESULTS, NOT TIME – Rich people choose to get paid based on results; poor people choose to get paid based on time, which is limited. Rich people believe in their value and their ability to deliver it; poor people live in fear and need ‘guarantees’.

 

Card 4: INCREASE YOU VALUE – You’ll be paid in direct proportion to the value you deliver to the marketplace. If you’re not earning a lot of money right now, it’s because you’re not delivering a lot of value.

 

Card 5: OWN YOUR OWN BUSINESS – Start a business full- or part-time, work on commission, get a percentage revenue or company profits, or get stock options. The vast majority of millionaires became rich by being in their own business.

About Doug Nelson

Born and raised in a Wisconsin to a working class-poor family, Doug Nelson recalls that his first job was, “staying out of trouble.” Once he’d mastered that, he discovered a propensity for learning real-world business skills and a flair for entrepreneurship.

By the time he was 25, not only was Doug adept at staying out of trouble, he was part owner of two companies and well on his way to success. By 33, he was financially free and teaching others to manage their own businesses though a national training company.

Then, in 2003, Doug was burned in a natural gas accident. After 6 weeks in a coma, he awoke to find over half of his body severely burned and his life completely changed. However, with several passive income structures solidly in place, the long year of rehabilitation that followed was less stressful than it might have been had he been on unstable financial footing at the time of his accident. This was a lesson Doug never forgot.

In 2004, Doug attended Peak Potentials’ Millionaire Mind Intensive. He was floored by the intense delivery of money management principles; which he knew from his business background to be sound. While attending Train the Trainer 1, he joined the Quantum Leap program. In June of 2006, Doug led his first Millionaire Mind Intensive. He is now lead trainer at several of Peak’s most popular courses.

On Saturday the 17th of August 2013, Suzanne and Chris had the absolute pleasure of coaching 350 Cosmo City residents on mind power. What an absolutely brilliant day they had and what a turn-out it was. The audience varied in age from young primary school going learners to people in their sixties.

Organised by the team of young leaders from S.W.A.R.T [So We Are Really Thinking] the residents of Cosmo City  who attended the workshop learnt that they all have Genius with in them. Sbusiso Leope affectionately known as DJ Sbu founder of SLEF and co-founder of Leadership 2020 closed the day’s coaching with a strong message to all present to “put in the work, put in the work, just keep putting in the work!”
