This week, Neptune brings enjoyment to the Sun in serious Capricorn; Mercury’s message is to let our minds go off-script and heed powerful words; Venus and Neptune prompt a realistic look at relationships; the passionate Aries First Quarter Moon reawakens messages from a recent eclipse, setting the stage for the Sun's powerful conjunction with Pluto on the day each of them moves into Aquarius; and April answers a listener question about the quincunx aspect. Timestamps

[1:15] The Sun sextiles Neptune on Jan. 15 (4:38 pm PST), 25º21’ Capricorn-Pisces. The Sun’s Sabian symbol: 26 Capricorn, A water sprite. How can we use structures, forms and plans to make the world a better place?

[3:01] Moon Report! The Aries First Quarter Moon is on Jan. 17 (7:52 pm PST), 27°31’ Aries-Capricorn. Time to take action on something we initiated at that Jan. 11th Capricorn New Moon.

[5:47] This is the First Quarter Moon in a Lunar Phase Family Cycle (LPFC) that began with a New Moon/Solar Eclipse on April 19, 2023, at 29º50’ Aries.

[7:23] Void-of-Course (VOC) Moon Periods. On Jan. 15, the Moon in Pisces sextiles Pluto (8:33 pm PST); it's VOC for about 15 minutes before it enters Aries (8:48 pm PST). An opportunity to surrender rather than trying to hold on to control.

[8:41] On Jan. 18, the Moon in Aries squares Pluto (12:03 am PST) and is VOC for only 12 minutes before it enters Taurus (12:12 am PST). Consider passionate, straightforward action versus the external control.

[9:28] The Moon in Taurus trines the Capricorn Sun on Jan. 20 (5:57:08 am PST). It's VOC for under one minute before entering Gemini (5:57:55 am PST). Enjoy the success that ends this Capricorn season; it was achieved at a slow and steady Taurus pace.

[10:44] On Jan. 18 (12:49 am PST), Mercury sextiles Saturn at 04°56’ Capricorn-Pisces. Treat this as an invitation to go a little off script and use intuition as well as rationale.

[12:24] Mercury trines Jupiter on Jan. 19 (1:31 am PST), 06°13’ Capricorn-Taurus. Mercury’s Sabian symbol is 7 Capricorn, A veiled prophet of power and Jupiter's is 7 Taurus, A woman of Samaria. Powerful words allow us to open our minds and see things in a new way.

[13:43] On Jan. 19 (7:49 am PST), Venus squares Neptune at 25º26’ minutes Sagittarius-Pisces. Venus is on Sabian symbol, 26 Sagittarius, A flag bearer, Neptune is on 26 Pisces, a New Moon that divides its influences. This aspect can bring a conflict between love and truth.

[15:53] Jan. 20 is a big day! The Sun conjuncts Pluto (5:46 am PST) at 29°59’ Capricorn. Treat this as an exclamation mark at the end of Pluto’s most recent time in Capricorn.

[16:50] The Sun enters Aquarius on Jan. 20 (6:07 am PST). Along with Pluto, the Sun is joined in this sign by Mercury (Feb. 4), Mars (Feb. 12), and Venus (Feb. 16). Expect community and planning for the future to be top of mind.

[17:53] Pluto re-enters Aquarius on Jan. 20 (4:56 pm PST), emphasizing the profound importance of creating things together.

[18:55] Listener Elliott asks about the Quincunx aspect. For more: A basic definition; Stormie Grace's discussion with Rick Levine; The Yod Book (Karen Hamaker-Zondag).
