Men’s Soccer joins host Paul Meadors this week in the ESPN Studios: Associate head coach Cameron Shahrokhi, junior captains Julian Aran Martin, Lucas Ribiero, and sophomores Bryan and Brandon Lopez.

Julian (from Argentina) and Lucas (from Brazil) describe their close bond on and off the pitch despite being from rival soccer nations, and local standouts Bryan and Brandon talk about their reunion with first-year associate head coach Shahrokhi at FPU after winning a high school championship together at Clovis North.

This week, host Paul Meadors sits down with Men’s Basketball head coach C.J. Haydock and junior Isaac Peralta.

Coach C.J. and Paul have been friends since C.J.’s playing days at Fresno Christian and talk about his coaching journey ahead of his ninth season leading the Sunbirds and what to look out from the program this winter. Isaac, the reigning PacWest steals leader describes his outlook for the upcoming season and his personal goals on the court.

In the inaugural episode of the Sunbirds Sports Show, host Paul Meadors is joined by FPU Volleyball’s head coach Kelsee Montagna, former player and current assistant coach Catie Speas, as well as seniors Claire Corippo, Madison Girnius, and junior Geneva Elliott.

Montagna, in her first season at FPU, describes the importance of having veteran leadership from players such as Claire, Madi, and Geneva, but also on the bench from former FPU standout and first-year assistant Catie.  With the current season already underway, they discuss their team culture and chemistry as well as the paths that led them to FPU.
