We started the day at Cam's place to put on a brew for Steve's birthday bash in a few weeks, before heading to Showcase Beers for a cruisy Sunday Sesh. Cam, Brewmaster from the Pine Rivers Underground Brewing Society joined us as a guest host. We ended up chatting with Tiphani, Two Birds Brewing's new QLD Sales Rep as well as Tina, the matriach of Showcase Beers. We also got to try a very tasty APA from brewery in the making, Moreton Bay Brewing Co. We attempted to run through a few topics & issues that have come up in the beer world of late, but Steve may have had a couple too many to operate the recording gear properly. Silly Steve. In this episode, we spoke about our day with Hop On Brewery Tours, the BBQ & Beer Roadshow and our visit to Bacchus Brewing Company. We also talked though some samples we enjoyed from Endeavour Brewing & Philter Brewing.

In this episode Stevo & Steve caught up with Andy, the man behind the Northside of Brisbane's newest craft beer spot, Showcase Beers. As the name suggests, the aim is to showcase the best local craft beer offerings and help support & grow independent beer in South East QLD & Australia. It's a family business, run by Andy and his better half, Tina, situated on the waterfront at Scarborough on the Redcliffe peninsula. Grab a beer, sit back and enjoy the conversation.

It had been a little while since we'd been in a room together, so fair warning, this is the least "beery" episode we've done. We covered a bit of beer stuff, starting with the AIBA's, before we talked through the Dan Murphy's GABS Festival 6 Pack & spoke about our upcoming fun day with Hop On Brewery Tours. Then the non-beer stuff began with the NBA Playoffs, the Game of Thrones finale and a bit of heavy metal stuff. If you don't want to listen to the NBA & Game of Thrones stuff, you can pretty well skip from minute 19 to 39 as we did waffle on a bit. Either way, we hope you enjoy our conversation.

We put Cam's Balter XPA clone up against the real thing, talked about Mick's Modus adventues & got into the beers we're most looking forward to trying at our first GABS.
