Today's scripture comes from James 4:1-10 dealing with the center of and the origins of war. Must of contentions are rooted not from external sources but are manifested internally. James 4:3 says it like this: "Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lust." But there is an antidote. James 4:10 says: "Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He shall lift you up."
