Onward is the first 2020 release by Pixar Animation Studios while Spies in Disguise is the first Blue Sky Studios release under the Disney umbrella. Both are mostly solid films but fall in the middle of animated movie releases. They're both box office flops, however, Onward performed far worse than Spies in Disguise when taking budget and box office into account.

The second last episode of Star Wars: The Clone Wars is here and it really delivers. This entire final arc of season 7 has been masterful and I am sure they'll stick the landing. This episode is Star Wars at its best and it doesn't even have the best characters in the episode. So thank you Dave Filoni. This is my review of season 7 episode 11 "Shattered".

1917 is a 2019 film directed by Sam Mendes, the director of James Bond's Skyfall. It was unlucky to have been released in the same year as Parasite as I believe it would've cleaned up at the oscars. Thankfully, Roger Deakins got his second academy award for the masterful cinematography - after he won for 2017's Blade Runner 2049. I believe this film to be an instant classic and one of the best war movies of all-time (the best release in my opinion since Saving Private Ryan).
