Stassi is back, Jax has moved on, and SUR is officially in chaos! 🍸🔥

We're back for another chapter of The SUR Files' Vanderpump Rules Rewatch, as Joshie Lopez breaks down Season 1, Episode 5 — “I'm Not a Bitch.”

After the explosive Las Vegas birthday weekend, Stassi Schroeder returns to Los Angeles expecting to pick up the pieces. Instead, she discovers that the world at SUR has kept moving without her—and the friendships she once relied on are starting to crumble.

While Stassi was away, Jax Taylor started dating fellow SUR server Laura-Leigh. And considering everything that went down in Vegas, this new relationship is bound to cause some serious tension.

Stassi isn't exactly thrilled to see her ex moving on, especially when the new woman in his life works right alongside them.

Joshie revisits the complicated dynamics between Stassi, Jax, and Laura-Leigh. Is Jax genuinely moving forward, or is this another chapter in his ongoing relationship drama? And how much of Stassi's reaction comes from heartbreak, anger, or feeling betrayed by the people closest to her?

Lisa Vanderpump has had enough of the fighting, the personal drama, and the tension spilling into the workplace. So she calls a staff meeting to put an end to the infighting.

But instead of calming things down, the meeting becomes one of the most uncomfortable confrontations of the early season.

Laura-Leigh confronts Stassi over the bullying text messages she received, bringing their conflict into the open in front of the entire staff. Stassi is forced to answer for her behavior, while Katie Maloney and Kristen Doute's loyalty to their longtime friend is increasingly complicated.

Lisa is trying to run a restaurant—not referee a group of friends who can't stop fighting.

And the question is: Has Stassi finally gone too far?

While the SUR friend group is busy imploding, Scheana Shay is chasing her entertainment dreams.

Scheana prepares for her first live performance at the legendary Roxy Theatre, navigating nerves, rehearsals, and the pressure of putting herself out there as a performer.

The performance doesn't get off to the smoothest start, but Scheana pushes through and gets her moment in the spotlight. And along the way, she shares an unexpected moment of kindness with Stassi.

After all the hostility between these two women, could this be the beginning of a different dynamic—or just a brief pause in their feud?

Joshie also revisits the way the SUR crew responds to the growing tension. Who is holding Stassi accountable? Who is enabling her? And why does this group seem to have a completely different set of rules depending on who's involved?

IT'S MY FUCKING BIRTHDAY! 🎂🍸

We're heading to Las Vegas for one of the most legendary episodes in Vanderpump Rules history! This week on The SUR Files, Joshie Lopez breaks down Season 1, Episode 4 — “Vegas With A Vengeance” — featuring Stassi Schroeder's birthday weekend, relationship drama, fractured friendships, flying drinks, and one unforgettable parking-lot showdown.

We're checking into the Hard Rock Hotel, getting ready for Chippendales, stopping by Marrakech Restaurant, and revisiting the night that turned Stassi's birthday into an all-out war.

Stassi has officially moved on from Jax Taylor—or at least she's trying to. With Frank by her side, she's determined to enjoy her birthday without her ex ruining everything.

There's just one problem: Jax wasn't invited, and he shows up anyway!

From the flowers delivered to Stassi's hotel room to the confrontation at dinner, Jax refuses to stay out of the picture. Tom Schwartz jumps into the argument, Stassi throws a drink, Katie gets caught in the crossfire, and the night spirals into a chaotic fight involving Jax and Frank.

And who could forget Jax pulling off that chunky white sweater in the parking lot while Tom Sandoval gets caught up in the madness?

This is Vanderpump Rules at its absolute messiest.

Meanwhile, Lisa Vanderpump is left short-staffed at SUR while the crew celebrates in Vegas, with Scheana staying behind to help keep the restaurant running.

Vanderpump Rules Season 1, Episode 3: "You Don't Know Jax"

Do you know Jax? Because Stassi is starting to realize she might not. 👀

We're back for Episode 3 of The SUR Files' Vanderpump Rules Rewatch, and this time we're diving into Season 1, Episode 3 — "You Don't Know Jax."

After the breakup in Episode 2, Stassi is trying to move on from Jax Taylor. But while Katie and Kristen think Stassi will eventually take Jax back, Stassi is making it clear that she's reached her limit. After feeling like she's been treated poorly for years, she's determined to stand her ground.

But then comes Frank.

Stassi starts getting closer to SUR bartender Frank, creating an unexpected love triangle when Jax realizes that his ex may actually be moving on. Jax makes a big attempt to win Stassi back, and for a moment, it looks like the two might actually reconcile.

But then Frank drops the bomb.

Frank tells Stassi that he heard Jax cheated on her in Las Vegas — and that the alleged affair resulted in a pregnancy.

And Stassi is DONE.

With no evidence to back up the accusation, Stassi still takes the allegation seriously. She throws Jax's clothes around their apartment, drinks his expensive Cristal, and tells him to come get his things. When Jax arrives with Tom Sandoval, he denies cheating and vows to get revenge on Frank.

Meanwhile, Kristen and Tom Sandoval have their own explosive confrontation.

At a fashion shoot, Kristen encounters Cassandra, someone from Tom's past who reveals that she previously slept with him. Kristen brings the information back to SUR, confronts Tom during their shift, and the argument gets so intense that Lisa has to step in and remind Tom about bringing personal drama into the workplace.

And this episode gives Joshie plenty to talk about when it comes to something that goes WAY beyond reality TV drama:

Joshie takes a step back from the chaos to talk about self-respect, knowing when enough is enough, and recognizing red flags in relationships.

When you're constantly making excuses for someone's behavior, ignoring things that make you uncomfortable, or convincing yourself that someone will eventually change, where do you draw the line?

The biggest question isn't always "Will they come back?"

Sometimes it's:

"Why do I want them back?"

Joshie breaks down the importance of recognizing those red flags early, protecting your peace, and understanding that having self-respect sometimes means walking away — even when you still have feelings for someone.

Because watching Stassi and Jax back in Season 1, knowing everything that eventually happens, makes those warning signs VERY interesting to revisit.

This time around, Joshie Lopez dives into Season 1, Episode 2 — "This Is A Break-Up" — as the SUR crew gets ready to celebrate Gay Pride, Lisa Vanderpump puts her staff to work on an unforgettable parade float, and Stassi Schroeder and Jax Taylor's relationship starts heading toward a major breaking point.

And then comes Sunscreen-Gate. ☀️

When Stassi catches Scheana and Jax flirting, all hell breaks loose. After everything that happened between Stassi and Scheana in Episode 1, watching Scheana put sunscreen on Jax is basically throwing gasoline on an already raging fire.

Joshie breaks down the tension between Stassi, Scheana and Jax, including Stassi's reaction, Scheana attempting to have a conversation with Stassi, and Lisa once again trying to keep her employees' personal drama from completely taking over SUR.

But the biggest storyline of the episode is the increasingly toxic relationship between Stassi and Jax.

Stassi is frustrated that Jax isn't acting like the responsible adult she expects him to be, while Jax is clearly reaching his limit with the constant fighting. Their relationship has reached the point where even working together at SUR becomes difficult.

And then we get one of the first truly iconic locations in Vanderpump Rules history: the back alley of SUR.

The arguments, the tears, the relationship drama — this little alley is about to become one of the most important places in VPR history.

And just when you think the day couldn't get messier, Jax's behavior at a SUR birthday party pushes Stassi even closer to ending the relationship for good.

Is this actually the end of Stassi and Jax?

Well...
