Dr Sally Larsen, from the University of New England has conducted a major study of NAPLAN results from 1500 students.

It found that over time there's only a slight differences in scores between private and state public schools, it ties in with decision for WA’s top 50 schools list NOT to be published this year by the School Curriculum and Standards Authority
