The Surrendered Servant

Welcome to the Modern Day Christian Chick Podcast where we look at every day life through the lens of the Gospel, while having conversations surrounding self care, intentional living, worship, and church culture.

Today we are focusing on the freedom we have in Jesus Christ and the power we have in that freedom.   I pray that as you listen to the song that you allow the words to minister to your heart.

Welcome to the Modern Day Christian Chick Podcast where we look at every day life through the lens of the Gospel, while having conversations surrounding self care, intentional living, worship, and church culture.

Today we are focusing on our worth.  If you believe you are not worth anything, you are wrong.  God says that you are worthy and have great value, so much so that He sent His son to die on a cross to redeem us.  That is how much God values us. I pray that as you listen to the song that you allow the words to minister to your heart.

Lyrics - Release The Sound, Tasha Cobbs-Leonard
David faced the giant
That mount the living God
By faith he stood in power
And that giant had to fall

The Israelite people
Rivaled by a wall
But when the people shouted
That wall it had to fall

There is a sound that
That make strings fall down
There is a sound that
That make strings fall down
There is a sound that
That make strings fall down
(I command you!)

Release the sound (all cheer)
Release the sound (all cheer)
Release the sound (all cheer)

What about Paul and Silas
Behind the prison walls
But when they started singing
Those walls, they had to fall

There is a sound that
That make strings fall down
There is a sound that
That make strings fall down
There is a sound that
That make strings fall down

Release the sound
Release the sound
Release the sound

I got one more
The crucified Jesus
Was buried in the tomb
They thought his life was over
But red filled the truth

The resurrected Jesus
He's coming in the clouds
Every eye will see him
And every knee will bow

There is a name
Makes demons flee
There is a name
Makes demons flee
There is a name
Makes demons flee

Release the name
Release the name
Release the name
Oh oh
Release the name
Release the name
Release the name
Release the name
Yeah Yeah
Release the name

The name is Jesus

Lyrics
"Proverbs 3 (Tablet Of Your Heart)"

Write them on the tablet of your heart
Write them on the tablet of your heart

I am the Vine, you are the branches
He who abides in Me
Will forever be fruitful indeed

I am the Way, the Truth and the Light
No one gets to the Father
Except that he comes through Me

Let not mercy and truth
Forsake you, forsake you
...

Trust in the Lord with all your heart
Trust in the Lord with all your mind
Trust in the Lord with all your strength
Lean not to your own understanding
...

I will hide Your word in my heart...
