The beauty of this show is I feel it is something you can share with friends and family. The real history of Thanksgiving is actually a lot more interesting and special then many of the myths.

First some thoughts on the coming holiday season and hopefully for most some down time.  I want to discuss may be something things you can do for family bonding and some of them involve improving preparedness at the same time.

On November 5th, 2008 I did Episode-87 Barack Obama Won – No the World Isn’t Over.  As time as told I was right, the world didn’t end.  If you go back and listen you will see I largely got what the Obama years would bring right, so now it is time to do the same with our new president, Donald Trump.

Right now if you watch TV or turn on the radio you will mostly find two groups highlighted.  First are the group that see’s Trump as a champion, the guy that is going to fix everything, make America great again and banish liberals to a rock pile to hide under for the next 8 years.

The other is the distraught adult children crying and I don’t just mean college kids.  I am talking prime time liberal media figures who can’t comprehend how this happened.  Of course we have riots going on along with actual protests and adult children weeping and needing play doh, hot chocolate, tissues and safe spaces as coping tools.  Sadly that is not an exaggeration, some universities are actually giving these young adults coloring books to help them cope!

My view and I think the view of most Americans (no matter who they voted for or even if they did not vote) is far more sober.  What exactly is going to come of this and how will Trumps words meet the reality they will slam into in January when he swears in as president.
