We even cover how to text potential partners to set up these meetings. Also discussed is how to respond well to the different responses you will receive and how important follow-up is. Finally, we cover how to take good care of our partners by keeping in touch, thanking them well, and updating them adequately.

In this episode, we examine the Old Testament and New Testament to discover the model that God created in order to fund his ministry workers. We look at the example of Jesus and the instructions he gave to his disciples on how to be funded during outreach. We also study the many instructions from Paul on what he taught the early church to practice when it came to partnering with missionaries. We tackle the issue of tentmaking and what part that plays in the area of missionary funding. Special guest Brando Bareño from YWAM Cartagena in Colombia tells how he overcame cultural stigmas to become fully funded as a missionary. In this episode, we give an overview of the entire training. We discuss why missionary partnership creates long-term sustainability on the field, and why it is important to overcome an orphan mentality when it comes to finances.
