In segment one, I provide a brief faith-based coaching session on first knowing what our role is as a Christian spouse, child, parent or neighbor when abuse has gotten out of control. In segment two I bring in April Tribe Giauque, author of 'Pinpoint of Light: Escaping the Abyss of Abuse'. Where she shares with listeners her first-hand story of calling on the love of Jesus to show her the way, to help her find safety and to know how to carrying on. In segment three we take call-ins for live coaching on any area that has you stuck.

In today's show, we dissect the reasons why folks are doing away with their religion. We look at the importance of religion and what the word REALLY means. We make points of compassion and understanding as to why the world is in this place right now...and we express with Biblical truth why we should love our religion. Today, Niccie brings in Pastor Tim Breen for this breakdown of the written word...and to get to the truth. Today's Living Within the Sweet Spot is dedicated to our men. Last fall I began hunting for resources for the men I work with. I wanted to find a place for men to thrive, be inspired, and grow in their faith. I do a fine job with this myself, but I wanted a great place for these men to be built up by men. I'm very careful to lead folks as God directed, which means sticking close to the written Word. Finding a place for men that matched this was not easy. There are some awesome podcasts and individuals to follow but I wanted more. I wanted a community that leads men, God’s way. That is when I found Pastor Jody Burkeen, author of Man Up God's Way. His story is passionate and real. God has taken hold of his life and he is…DEDICATED TO TEACHING MEN TO BECOME GODLY, IN AN UNGODLY WORLD.
