Publisher's Summary:
The search for the legendary Sword of Peter...
Two thousand years ago, when the Romans came to arrest Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane, the disciple Peter cut off the ear of an innocent man. Jesus rebuked Peter and quickly healed the servant's ear - and the Sword of Peter took on supernatural powers.
Fast forward to modern day where a Biblical archaeology quest for the Sword of Peter is imperative to both Israel and to the Christian world. It's also a race against others who would possess and use the Sword of Peter for their own purposes, if they find it first.
When Peter cut off a soldier's ear with the sword, he was probably trying to cut off his head. A poor aim.
Martial arts expert Dr. Sam Godfrey is the youngest professor retired from the Zion School for Biblical Studies. Achava previously left the Staff of Moses with him for safekeeping, and on that adventure, he fell in love with her. That path toward a romance seems forbidden because of her spiritual duties and divine destiny.
A clan called the Sentinels believes that Sam has the sword. When they attack him in his home, he fights them. Using supernatural means, Achava shows up and helps him to defeat the intruders who have almost debilitated him with a mysterious powder.
Achava needs to take Sam to Israel to save him. They meet up with Saeem, Achava's longtime Arab friend who is dedicated to helping her locate and protect.

Summer Lee continues to bring us adventures.
This is the second in the series and it excellent, love the characters. Achava is the guardian, Achsah lived during Joshua's time in the Bible and Sam Godfrey has become a martial arts expert (after the first book). It has a bit of everything, action, travel, romance, and the spiritual quest. You will be glad you read it.
Good but not great. 4 stars
Good story. Needs more development of storyline, characters ...... I have read the first two in this series. If the third book doesn't reveal some progress in the author's writing skills, I will not continue with this author. There are far too many great authors to waste time and money on mediocre.
The Sword of Peter
i enjoyed the story but i thought Samuel continued as a professor as noted in The Staff of Moses until his 70's yet here he retired at 33. Is this the same character and why the age conflict?
sword of Peter
The Sword of Peter is a great book. Who hasn't wondered what has become of some of the artifacts in Biblical history? I like how the book weaves it's tale thru the book and prepares you for another coming up. I'm going to love reading this to a blind friend who is into Si-fi books. This series will hold her interest AND has great Biblical references in it. Thanks Summer Lee.
look foreward too future works
a good read
