Though God allowed Joseph to experience hardships and trials to purge out his hidden arrogance and pride, He also used Joseph's dark times to bring out the strong gifts that were laying inside of him. Our gifts won't come forth unless we allow God to refine us with His fire and bring us out like pure gold.

The situations we face in life can cause us to either throw away our confidence or pick it up. Jesus, Paul, and many others in the Bible all went through trials and tribulations, but they came out with a confidence in God that changed the world.

Overseer Daryl Young gives a powerful word on Noah and the Ark. Because Noah found favor in the sight of the Lord, God spared him and chose him to be the preserver of mankind. God has spared us and chosen us to be the savior to our family and generation to bring righteousness and the blessings of God to them.

All of the pain we encounter in our walk with Christ is for the purification and refinement of the body of Christ. The devil does not want us unified. Therefore, he will try to cause our pain to deter us away from godly unification. But our unity through pain will destroy the works of the devil.
