After the brazen altar is the brazen laver. When one is covered by the blood of their personal sacrifice (being born again through the gospel of Jesus Christ), the brazen laver (the word of God) needs to be used to wash their hands and feet in their service to God. We cannot be in service to the Lord with unwashed hands and feet.
