Pastor Trevor begins 1 Corinthians 1, Pastor Trevor broke the chapter down into three parts, we walked through who the people of Corinth were and Paul's greeting to them. The problem begin division and how Paul addressed it in love, and the Wisdom of Jesus.

Pastor Trevor continues and wraps up Acts with Acts 15 and a touch of 16. He continued on the theme of unity and talked about how having disagreements in the church are okay and healthy, as long as they don't break apart the body of Christ.

We were joined by our next guest speaker Estevan Zamora who comes to us from Renovation Nazarene in Phoenix. Not only did he bring a great message, but also doubled the size of our church with his family and friends. Having all of those new faces was perfect for his message about unity and living as one body in Christ regardless of your denomination or theological understanding.

Pastor Trevor continues into Acts 9 as we covered Saul's transformation on the road to Damascus into Paul. Though likely all of us have never killed someone simply for their belief, Trevor related to the pharisee that Saul had become, and how we can live a better life if we are committed to Christ as Paul was.

Pastor Trevor explains the thought behind our new circle groups launching August 2024! What would it look like if instead of the church creating programs that people have to volunteer for and so many resources are spent on, we the Church brought Christ into our already built rhythms?
