The disaster of LV-145 and the Pinnacle Facility may have been a setback for the Weyland-Yutani Corporation, but Clarke and Butler, decades after the facility's fall, still cling to the hope of the Engineer technology there. All has been silent since the FA/TH/UR AI went live, so the two begin to think there may be one last chance to save their careers, hatching a plan to divert a hapless crew to the far off system... with an android by the name of David in tow. Here is the thrilling conclusion to the ALIEN: DESOLATION story!
Part III of ALIEN: Desolation is the third in an ALIEN: The Roleplaying Game-inspired series of podcast episodes created as part of The Tabletop Bureau's co-creator's master's project. Unlike the former parts, Part III utilizes very minimal scripting, instead presenting the events of "actual play" exactly as happened while running through the accompanying adventure -- Den of Beasts. For this reason, Part III is divided into three separate episodes. This is the second of three episodes.
STARRING:
Jonathan Krebs as The Narrator & Game MU/TH/UR
McKenzie Power as Clarke
John Tobin as Butler
Rachel Bissonnette as MU/TH/UR
Gary Minnie as Captain Connors
Monique Bettencourt as M.C.

Several decades have passed since the fateful landing of the USCSS Norito, and much has changed in the Eta Leporis system. Clarke and Butler of the Weyland-Yutani Special Projects Division succeeded in establishing a research presence to study the world's strange xenomorphic creatures and ancient ruins, but unfortunately not all is progressing to plan...
Part II of ALIEN: Desolation is the second in an ALIEN: The Roleplaying Game-inspired series of podcast episodes created as part of The Tabletop Bureau's co-creator's master's project. This episode, unlike the first episode, is constructed around the events of "actual play" for two original modules created for ALIEN: The Roleplaying Game. The story takes place over two interspersed story arcs, set in the same facility on LV-145: one during the fall of the facility, and the other during the arrival of a marine detachment to "rescue" the colony.

In the grim cold of space, far beyond the frontier, lies the dead Eta Leporis system. Once a burgeoning colony system of the mysterious "Engineers," Eta Leporis is now sterile and static... until a crew of cargo haulers is awakened by their onboard MU/TH/UR computer to investigate a strange signal. Where have we heard that before? What they find leads to terror both within and without, in ways you may not expect...
The first new release from The Tabletop Bureau in years, ALIEN: DESOLATION is a multi-part story arc told through a variety of means. This first episode follows an exact written script, while others are either "Actual Play" or dramatic readings based off of the events of Actual Play. ALIEN: DESOLATION was created as part of a graduate thesis while one of the founders of The Tabletop Bureau completed his degree.
