Many women, including the two of us, are entering into a different phase of life. Some of us may be experiencing some physical changes, like mood swings, hot flashes and irregular cycles. While others of us, may have had our last period years ago.
With these physical changes, come also emotional changes….Relationship issues, issues with our body image and feeling of our value to the world. The time is now to see these changes as opportunities to grow and finally find the passion for life that you’ve been waiting for…..
Diana Hoppe, M.D. F.A.C.O.G.
Dr. Diana Hoppe is a distinguished physician in Obstetrics/Gynecology,
highly respected clinical researcher and popular public speaker.
Interestingly, as a child, Dr. Diana dreamed of becoming a veterinarian
specializing in small pets. Her love for animals led her to pursue a
bachelor’s degree in Zoology and she graduated Phi Beta Kappa from
the University of California, Berkeley in 1984. While at U.C. Berkeley,
she volunteered at Cowell’s Women’s Hospital, working with nurse
practitioners performing physical exams and providing contraceptive
counseling. It was there that she realized her true calling for the
field of women’s health. Dr. Hoppe earned her medical degree at the
University of California, San Diego, where she also completed her
internship and residency in Obstetrics/Gynecology. Having been raised
and trained in Southern California, wanderlust filled her soul so she
decided to embark on the adventurous journey of locum tenens where she explored various parts of our country, from Bismarck, North Dakota, to Winona, Minnesota, to Newport, Vermont. These travel experiences awakened her sense of curiosity and exploration for the country as well as the world.
