  • Ep # 6 Gules Meli | Remove the Fear

Surround yourself with people who have dreams, desire, and ambition; they’ll help you push for and realize your own ...

That’s the exact reason I recorded a Podcast with my boy Gules Meli the Head Coach and Owner over at Team Bionic. There’s nothing more motivating than seeing your friends chasing after their goals and this kid has done exactly that. Coming 1st place in his Junior Physique competition, coaching his clients and his friends to live a healthy lifestyle and in general, he’s just doing his thing, pushing our positivity.

I sat down with Gules and talked about how he got to where he is today with everything that he’s doing and what his thoughts were on how to help people Tak3 Action. His one piece of advice "Remove the Fear" was probably the best one I’ve heard yet, so I definitely recommend listening in to what he has to say.

Appreciate you bud, thanks for coming on the Podcast!

  • Ep #5 Nick Ciaglia | Just Keep Moving

When you first pickup a camera, your first thought might not be "I'll be taking photos/videos for the professional athletes one day". It definitely wasn't Nick's first thought, but since the day he took his first photo he Kept Moving and look at him now ... Shooting video for the NBA Draft, Nike Canada & many other brands/influencers.

Nick's dream was to play basketball at the D1 level, but after a knee injury that took him out of the game, he had to come up with a new game plan. Still in high school at the time, his dad suggested he tried starting his own business. So, that's exactly what he did. His dad recommend he start a Lawn Aeration business and with the help of one of his buddies, they did just that. Making a couple hundred dollars, it turned out ok, but that was just the beginning to his journey. The story continues to his next job working at Toys R Us, then going to college, then university, then dropping out of university to working part-time at his dad's business. His story took twists and turns over and over again, but Nick said that the key to his success was that he just kept moving.

A lot of people go through some terrible event in their life and simply give up. They lose full hope and never recover. Nick's dream was to play D1 basketball. He transferred over to a Basketball Academy in pursuit of turning his dream into a reality. But then, he blew out his knee ... end of his career. Nick could have called it quits. Just completely given up and thought that his life was finished, he could never play basketball again. He wasn't going to let that happen though.

Nick picked himself up and started a business that maybe he maybe wasn't that passionate about, accepted a part-time position that wasn't an ideal job and then finally tried going the route of school as many others did. Did any of these things work out for him? No. But he wouldn't be where he is today if it weren't for them.

The key to Nick's story was that he kept moving. He tried something, didn't like it and moved on. Some people get stuck in the same position for years before leaving. Nick knew what he wanted and what he didn't, so he continued to search for what he was passionate about, which ended up being Photography/Videography.

    He hasn't looked back since.

  • Ep #4 Stone Cieslok | Build a Safety Net

Experiencing first hand your roommate build and grow a company to the scale that this lad right here has been able to is literally insane ...  I still remember the first days of freaking out when he saw just one order come in. Now, I don’t think he can even keep count towards how many custom inquires and catalog sales come through on a daily basis.

Entrepreneurship is in no way, shape or form something easy. It requires sacrifice, late nights, failure and the list goes on and on. I mean it when I say it isn't for everyone ... but my man Stone Cieslok right here is 100% the definition of what it means to be an Entrepreneur. Being just 20 years old and accomplishing what he's been able to with his company Neon X is beyond remarkable. He's worked with the Canadian Country Music Awards, Reebok, Peace Collective and the list goes on and on.

Stone's journey may look like an overnight success because of the success Neon X has had within just one year of being in business, but I can promise you that this is anything but an overnight success story. In this interview, Stone talks about how every part-time job he's had, every opportunity he's been given and just sheer hard work and late nights is what has been able to lead him to creating Neon X. The best part is, he's just getting start ...

  • Ep #3 Dan Rogers | Be Selfish

From the OHL to becoming a CrossFit coach, owning his own box CrossFit Streets and building a true community around it, my man Dan Rogers is an inspiration to myself and so many others ...

He was one of the first people to believe in me and Tak3 Action by taking me on as a sponsor for the gym over a year ago when I first started Tak3 Action. He’s not just a CrossFit coach trying to sell memberships to get people into his gym, he actually cares about his members and genuinely wants to help them live a better life. Dan’s goal was never to just open up a gym, but build a facility that helps people become the best version of thesmselevs and he’s been able to do exactly that.

I sat down to chat with him about his journey over the past decade to get to where he is today and I promise, y’all don’t want to miss out on what he has to say!
