• He had been away from the spotlight for two years dealing with grief after losing his parents, siblings, and his marriage.
• While he was going through the hardest period of his life, he decided to move from Johannesburg to Bloemfontein to find time to heal.
• It was at his time that he realised his ancestors wanted him to be in solitude so that he can accept his calling of being a healer.
• During his hiatus, he spent his time building up his NPO, which he named after his mother and brother Tshepo Ya Xoli, who died in a car accident in 2013.
• Recently, he made his come back to the small screen as the host of Mzansi Wethu’s uMndende, a show that assists people who are receiving social grants but have problems with family members who misuse the money or hide that they receive any money.He says growing up he was an ordinary kid and never thought that he had a spiritual gift, in 2020 that is when his gift started to become more intense and that was a difficult period of his life.
• "This was shortly after my divorce, I was alone and moved to Bloemfontein and started my life, he says. I was living alone, my calling wanted me to be alone so that I can meet different people and have my dreams and visions that will lead me to that path, and in that process, I was healing, and he tells Drum.
• He has overcome drugs, depression and also admitted to abusing his wife

Interview |At least 1 000 qualified doctors are jobless with no prospect of employment. Not so long ago, doctors affiliated with various unions staged a protest march against the unemployment of doctors.

Employing more doctors should be unquestionable in a country where state hospitals are plagued by structural inefficiencies, gross under-staffing, and numerous complaints of poor service delivery by the communities they serve.

nterview| The idea of pornography addiction and teens suffering from it seems unlikely, but it happens more often than you think. First Thing is First | Concerns are constantly being raised over abuse and violence of children as the first term of school kicks off. Some learners, instead of sharing in the back-to-school excitement, are faced with the chilling reality of abuse and violence in our schools. Since the beginning of this year, there have already been a series of reports of abuse of children, including the currently running sex ring case, involving minors - which demonstrates the urgency to tackle all these forms of abuse of children.

 

• Regular reports of bullying, corporal punishment, assault, grooming, and physical abuse in schools are alarming. Female learners, mainly, are subjected to violence on a massive scale in schools, perpetrated by either male peers or by teachers.
• Abuse takes on many forms. According to crime statistics generated by the South African Police Services (SAPS), 74% of students have reported being hit at school, while 41% have been bullied. Overall, 32% of learners report that they feel unsafe at school.
• The latest Statistics SA research reveals shocking realities concerning the abuse of girls. Between March 2021 and April 2022, 90 037 girls between the ages of 10 and 19 gave birth. Those are children who should be attending school.
• A shocking reality is that over 160 of the sexual misconduct cases reported between 2020 and 2021 were perpetrated by teachers.
• Even more worrying is the fact that more than 65% of primary school-aged children are reported to have used violence themselves in school, according to statistics from the SAPS.
• Currently, Police have launched an investigation into an incident in which a man was gunned down at the Kagiso secondary school, west of Johannesburg. The police spokesperson Dimakatso Sello says the man entered the school and held some staff members hostage after which one of the teachers shot him ...
