The Talk Zone w/ Adam Acree

Whooaaaaa, they (me) said we'd never have anybody from Indiana on this show, and they were wrong!! This week I sit down with Indianapolis comedy vet Darron Finesilver!

We go DEEP on Dairy Queen, weird fan interactions at the club, and compare bulldogs to see which one is chunkier.

Bryce and Adam get into a ton of stuff, including the making of the film, how to keep a cohesive vision when making a film alongside starting a family, backpacking in Scotland, and the difference between being a director, producer, and videographer. If you ever wanted to get into the mind of an incredible filmmaker, this is the time!

Also, Caliburn is available to watch on youtube RIGHT NOW! Go check it out and THEN watch this podcast...or vice versa... just do BOTH!!

What a Christmas Miracle that today The Talk Zone welcomes a Comedy Legend. Bret is a veteran joke writer, having his jokes told in front of millions of people by the one and only Jay Leno on the tonight show. Bret is also a student of Paul Sills, Co-Founder of The Second City, and has been a historic part of the Louisville Improv scene, having been in such groups as The ReActors, Part Time Theatre Company, and Mortal Comedy. If that weren't enough he's also the Regional Vice President for the Society of American Magicians. I didn't even know they had those!! This week we talk about writing for the biggest late night talk show in the world, the early days of The Comedy Caravan, and dish about standup legends & magicians. Check it out!
