May is Mental Health Awareness Month.
Stress can be one contributing factor to your mental health. How you feel at work often bleeds into your personal lives. For instance, if you’ve had a bad day at work, then you may find yourself short with your spouse, or impatient with your kids.
a. Take moments of gratitude during the day. Focus on the good, even in a not- so-good situation.
b. Be intentional about scheduling virtual coffee breaks with each other. Connecting with each other, building relationships- is important and not easy in a virtual environment. We all need to make it a priority.
c. Be honest with yourself, know when to unplug, go for a walk. Listen to your heart, mind and body.
d. I am in the business of helping people- and that includes you. I am here to help, and support you. You are not alone.
