Every year I think that it is so important to receive a word, theme, verse from God that highlights God's vision for you for the upcoming year. Proverbs 29:18 says, "Where there is no vision, the people are unrestrained." When we don't get a vision from God, it can lead to a life that is chaotic, disordered, discouragement filled etc.  

Let's start off 2024 right and talk about the importance of getting before God and finding out what he is saying for our year.

In Episode 21, we embark on a journey that's a bit different from our usual content. Picture this episode as more of a "Sermon" for your heart and soul.  I really feel like God dropped this thought, this topic, this question into my mind and heart because I feel like somebody needs to hear it.  

In the midst of life's tempestuous storms, it's often easy to lose sight of what truly matters. But there's a burning question, a question that has the power to rekindle your spirit and offer solace when the winds of adversity rage. The question I have for you and one that I feel God is asking is "Do You See Jesus?"

This isn't just a question; it's a lifeline, a beacon of hope when the world seems to be closing in around you. Whether you find yourself in the darkest of nights or the fiercest of storms, this question has the potential to lead you towards an unshakeable faith, because it forces you to focus on what truly matters.

Well... it is that time of the year again where the subject of Christianity and Halloween takes center stage in the world of social media! So, it only makes sense that I would join the fun! Lol! I have had so many people reach out to me asking me what my thoughts and opinions are and so I thought I would devote an entire episode to this all important subject (I say that with a bit of sarcasm.)

In John 6, Jesus preaches a very difficult sermon to hear and receive and hear and at the end of the sermon, all of his followers/disciples are confronted with a choice...do we continue following or walk away.  Hundreds of Jesus' followers end up walking away and stopped following him. Jesus then turns to his 12 and asks them if they were going to go as well?  Peter responds by saying, "Where are we going to go?"

Over the last number of weeks, I have been confronted with a similar type of choice, not in whether or not I was going to continue follow Jesus, but in terms of how I now view ministry and the church and that, "I can't go back" to how I saw things in the past.
