Kate Fullerton, talented tea designer and now co-owner of The Tea Chest, could never have imagined that she'd be flying from Brisbane to London, risking her young family's future, to save the business she loves from the woman who wants to shut it down.
Meanwhile, Leila Morton has just lost her job; and if Elizabeth Clancy had known today was the day she would appear on the nightly news, she might at least have put on some clothes. Both need to move on.
When Kate, Leila and Elizabeth's paths cross, they throw themselves into realising Kate's vision of the newest and most delectable tea shop in London, The Tea Chest. But with the very real possibility that The Tea Chest may fail, the three women are forced to decide what's important to each of them.
An enchanting, witty novel about the unexpected situations life throws at us, and how love and friendship help us through. Written with heart and infused with the seductive scents of bergamot, Indian spices, lemon, rose and caramel, it's a world you won't want to leave.

Great little read - but then I could be just a bit biased ... I'm a huge tea fan, and I'm English/Australian so fully understood all the places, jargon, colloquialisms - not to mention the tea tales. There is store in Australia (and the UK - but the company is Australian) called Tea 2 and I'm wondering which came first - the business or the book! The characters are well drawn out and believable, and there are a few twists to keep you guessing. Well worth the $2 or so on kindle.
A Good Read
Delightful characters who weave in and around an interesting setting. Clear descriptions, enough action to make it hard to put down and easy tp pick up! Some concentration needed, especially at the beginning, to follow the characters in different time frames. A better appreciation of tea is a consequence of reading this book!
Poorly written muddle.
I thought the story started well but then became became a bit unbelievable. Why did Kate have to pay out so much money and exactly
what for? There was too much about mixing strange ingredients with tea and the dubious benefits.I also thought hiring an actor from America to defraud an Australian in London was unbelievable. There were far too many side plots which were both confusing and farcical.

excellent story which kept me reading on many occaisions when I should have been doing chores. The time of the story is
very interesting, especially as further information regarding Jack the Ripper, has come to light. Good to find that the characters are now in another book of the series.

An easy read, predictable
An easy read, predictable, a "pass the time" kind of book, nothing to make you think or get absorbed in, nevertheless, I certainly did not dislike it.
