God is always able to answer our prayers, but never obligated.

Only Christ can offer us the “better things” for which we long.

God desires a people who will depend on Him and not themselves. 

Sins forgiven and sins removed.  It was accomplished by twoseparate goats in the Old Testament.  It was accomplished by a single Lamb in the New. 

Anger is a scalpel; wrath is an ax. 

Since God’s image is on us, He has a legitimate claim to us. 

Since we have the same weak body of flesh Jesus had, shouldn’t we also have His pattern of prayer?  

True worship of God will include service to Him.

God is exalted high above the heavens, and yet He is also right by your side.

Our relationship with God is never stagnant.  We are either advancing toward Him or drifting away.
