God continues to lead.  Do we really want to follow? 

In light of the hope of eternal life, are you striving to have a clear conscience before God and men? 

Iron cannot be sharpened by ice cream and marshmallows. We need a few in our lives who will tell us the hard truths.

Don’t try to cheer those who grieve; instead, mourn with those who mourn.

According to Ezekiel 6:9, we have the potential to crush the heart of God. 

Be still.  Wait patiently.  Do not fret.  Pretty good prescription for an anxious heart.

God will measure our “success” by whether or not we were faithful to the call, not by how others respond. 

The Gulf Stream flows in the Atlantic Ocean, but it is not absorbed by it.

God wants us to listen to Him before we do anything for Him.
