The Teachable Heart

Generosity toward others is the result of a heart fully given to Christ.

In very real terms, God is, and every other idol or supposed deity would have to say, “I am not.”

Christians are at risk of growing “weary” and “fainthearted.”

An occasional glance at Jesus on a Sunday morning isn’t going to be enough to finish this race well.

The longer we walk with Christ, the more evidence we accumulate regarding the goodness of God.

Historically, being a Christian was seen as a good thing in our culture.

The goal was "radical imitation." When fully trained, a disciple was expected to think and act exactly like their master.

God’s track record of leading people out of darkness is excellent.

To sin, or to not sin, in any given moment is a choice.

Sin threatens to trip us up and throw us down.  Therefore, we need to walk away from it!
