Welcome to Lesson 7 in the Narrow Gate Series. Today we need to discuss the dangerous myth of forgiveness. It is a myth born out cultural appropriation and spiritual misunderstanding, that has poisoned Western culture and directly-indirectly led to immeasurable human suffering and spiritual confusion.
In the west we think of 'Forgiveness' as a transactional concept. Antonio Sebastian explains just why this model has, over the last two thousand years, proved to be so disastisfying and so fatally damaging to human relationships. He shows us that the Jesus of History and Hebrew tradition offers us an organic and more realistic way to understand crime and punishment.

This video is a standing explanation from the 'Jesus of History Project' for all of those Christians who, every day and with the best of intentions, kindly refer us to the same passages in the Tanakh (Old Testament) as proofs of their Christ of faith.
Author Antonio Sebastian exposes the most popular passages and includes Rabbi Tovia Singer of Outreach Judaism to explain in detail exactly why Isaiah 53 has absolutely nothing to do with Jesus Christ or the Jesus of History.
This video is not intended to deny the validity of the Christian experience but rather suggests that the belief structure that is implicit in that faith is based on the most flagrant cultural appropriation and spiritual fraud in the history of the world.
In other words, Christian spiritual experience may be true but the perception is definitely false.

When the Jesus of History said the word 'God' what did he mean?
What image did he have in his mind?
As the first podcast in the Narrow Gate series, Antonio Sebastian explores the phenomena of Christians seeing visions of Christ and asks what it means for the Jesus of History.
In this podcast you will find the tools you need to find your real 'Self' and make a direct connection to the divine. Through the use of experiment and example, Antonio brings the reader to a direct realisation of transcendental truth.
In these troubled times a lot of good people are looking for new answers to old problems. Some people, even Jewish people, are looking to Christ for those answers.
Somewhat strangely it remains true that for most people in the West, if you even say the name Jesus in front of them, unless you are swearing, they will think you are insane.
But - as this video will show - what’s really ironic is the fact that they are both groups of people are entirely wrong and for the same reason.
In this video, we will be using TEXTUAL ANALYSIS BASED ON PHILOSOPHICAL COHERENCE to uncover exactly who invented Christianity.
In this week's episode author, Antonio Sebastian, reads the first chapter of his historical fiction novel, 'The Shroud of Edessa - The Secret of Mary Magdalene'
A year after the death of her husband, Mary Magdalene must return to Jerusalem for the final Hebrew burial ceremony. What she finds in her husband's tomb is a secret that could cost her, her life.

In this week's podcast from the Jesus of History channel author,Antonio Sebastian, reads the prologue from his historical fiction novel, 'The Last Letters of Jesus'.
"In first century Judea a war is being fought for the soul of the Jewish people. The light of Greek culture has weakened the power of the Jewish priests but, like a pack of wolves amongst a herd of sheep, extremists and fanatics use violence and terror to enforcce their version of God's will.
The superpower of the Roman state hangs over the Middle East like a hammer. After a hundred years of Jewish riots and assassinations, the Romans are fast running out of patience.
On the eve of the final apocalypse, evil covers the land like a shadow. In a letter to the last King of Israel, a Rabbi of the Great Sanhedrin tells the story of his crucified son and the secret of the Nazarenes.
Thirty years previously his son, Rabbi Yeshua bar Yosef, discovers an ancient Jewish teaching that could save the world. Arrested after a blockade of the temple sacrifices he desperately tries to warn the Jewish people. The secret of the Nazarenes will cost him his family, his humanity and ultimately his life."
You can get the book in hardback, paperback, epub and mobi from Amazon, smashwords, iTunes and most major high street stores.

In 1980, a construction crew accidentally uncovered the tomb of the Jesus family. For the last forty years Christian pseudo academics and various other vested interests have done everything they could to rebury the Jesus of History. In part one of this series, Antonio Sebastian provides a summary of the archaeological excavation and blows the lid off the greatest cover-up in history.
The Christian Church is entirely responsible for the fact that everyone, in the modern world, hates the Jesus of History. Popular ‘artists’ exhibit statues of him crucified in urine! Other ‘artists’ portray Jesus as a menstruating god. Not long ago, he was even turned into a successful cartoon character of himself.
Unlike the Prophet Mohammed, who is treated with great respect by Muslims and non-Muslims alike, Jesus is considered a fair target for the world’s casual contempt.
It has become fashionable, in the West, to deny that the Jesus of History ever even existed. In Europe or America, it is easier to admit to a history of insanity than an interest in the Jesus of History.
In this week's podcast Antonio Sebastian asks why! His answer may surprise you!
If the Jesus of History returned tomorrow, if he was forced to make a choice, he would probably be a Muslim and why shouldn't he be? Christianity tends to assume that Christianity owns the copyright on Jesus but it does not.
Forensic analysis of the historical texts based on philosophical coherence reveals a truth that Christians would prefer to ignore. That's why that in any debate Christians try to determine which historical documents are kosher and which are not but that is not how history is done. Facts are facts! You ignore them at your peril.
Biblical Scholars have known for the last two hundred years that, hidden within the words of Christ, there are a collection of sayings that can be reliably attributed to the Jesus of History and have obviously been copied from a common source.
Incredibly, that knowledge has been kept from the paying public. When considered as a whole, those sayings reveal a spiritually unique and entirely complete philosophical paradigm. The teachings of the Jesus of History are entirely Hebrew but, at the same time, distinctly not Judean. In five important ways the teachings of the Jesus of History are more Islamic than Christian.
It would be easy to laugh at President Trump's Spiritual Advisor, Paula White, but it would be a mistake to dismiss her as insane. The truth is that Paula White represents two thousand years of Christian scriptural tradition.
It is that tradition that unites Christians in their belief that the closer to God you are the more insane your behaviour becomes. This is where we get the word 'touched' as a euphemism for someone who is obviously insane. It comes from the phrase 'touched by God'.
The Jesus of History, on the other hand, taught that the proximity of God brings clarity and light. For him the proximity of God came slowly and in silence.
So how could Paula White and the Evangelical Christians be so fatally wrong? How can Christians attribute their own insanity to the Jesus of History?
In this week's Podcast, we examine how Greco-Roman visions of God, informed the formation of Christianity and how it has created the phenomena of modern Evangelical Preachers and changed the course of history.
