Mount Haleakala National park

On our trip to Maui we adventured to the top of summit Haleakala.

Haleakala (meaning “house of the sun”)

The Summit is 10,023 feet above sea level, but the actual height from the ocean floor is 30,000 feet! Making it one of the tallest mountains in the world!

We enjoyed the amazing views from above the clouds! Handled the uneasy tummies and hard to breath thin air!

What an adventure it was!
