Love the bargain corner but you only really feature low end phones. Can you do higher end phones? I bought a Palm Pixi Plus and I love it. Happy using it as it's different to all the other phones. The iPhone and HTC phones are all the same but the Pixi is different and it looks like a Blackberry but isn't.

Really sorry to hear you haven't had anything in Listener's Corner. We podcastees are bone idle!
So, I thought I'd send you a few words of support (and constructive criticism).
I listen to a lot of technology podcasts - I'm a gardener, with plenty of time to myself - and yours is without a doubt the best one covering the mobile market. You clearly know the devices down to their nuts and bolts and Andy adds a soupcon of eccentric geekiness and developer knowhow - I often don't know what he's talking about, but it sounds impressive.
I would imagine that, at some time, you'd like to get a couple of advertisers on board and this is where the constructive criticism comes in. I'm a big fan of playground humour, but yours sometimes goes a bit far for the corporate suits. Animal sex and inflatable sex dolls might make them a little nervous about having their product appear on the same page, so to speak. Having said that, your edginess adds to the flavour of the podcast so you wouldn't want to lose it completely. I only say all this because I think you deserve to succeed and your content is certainly better than established podcasts like Dialed In and not far off the the quality of Twit.tv!

Bit shocked people aren't sending in tonnes of questions since you are the only UK podcast worth listening too. I'm really looking forward to the Windows Phone 7 announcements hopefully you'll be covering them soon but what is the deal with cut and paste?!?

Just to let you know vodaphone are at it again. They have put a their branded software in with the above update (Galaxy S) ,they have also massacred the splash screens with their own  terrible splash screen and included a couple of trial games. The users in the vodaphone forum, (http://forum.vodafone.co.uk/topic/75008-galaxy-s-how-can-i-remove-the-new-vodafone-apps/),page are not happy about this and don't want this on their phones , me included,i loved the samsung splash screen . 

We are now waiting for the froyo update ,which we hope is released on the 23rd, to remove these vodaphone items.

This issue has been raised by both cnet,http://crave.cnet.co.uk/mobiles/vodafone-gets-in-another-fine-mess-over-android-this-time-with-galaxy-s-50000468/) and the register ,(http://www.theregister.co.uk/2010/09/21/froyo_updates/)who both have articles written about this update.

I don't usually write to web sites about anything just read and agree. I loved my phone without the branding and want it back that way.

Do you know of any phones that can block text messages ?  I have heard of an application for the iphone called iblacklist that can block calls.  Can this block text messages as well ?  But i guess your phone needs to be unlocked/jailbroken ?

Does the Samsung Galaxy S offer such a feature as i was thinking of buying this phone or an iphone.

Hi Guys,
Love the show and have been a listener from show 1.
Could you answer a Blackberry related question for me as I have not found a suitable answer so far.
I currently use a Galaxy S and sync my work calendar and google calendar and view it in one list, while all the time the calendars are kept separate on the back end.
I also have a Bold 9700 setup against the office BES server (running 5.0 BES). I would like to see my google calendar alongside the corporate one but I can not seem to find an easy way.
Google Sync seems at first try to do the job but rather than adding an additional calendar on the blackberry it seems to load all your google entries into your one BB calendar. BAD as this then syncs back up to the corporate one Merging the two.
Any ideas, on my iPhone and my Galaxy this is simple stuff but Blackberry seem to make it hard.

I’ve just seen your YouTube video on the Samsung i780 and was hoping you may be able to help me.

After taking a backup to the SD card I performed a hard reset. When trying to restore its asking for a password.

I didn’t enter a password when I did the backup and whatever I enter it says its incorrect.

Any ideas ? I’ve tried all the usual stuff such as 1234 etc

I really enjoy your podcast, I like the fact that you cover a wide variety of operating systems, networks, and general phone related stuff – but most importantly you really make me laugh.

Anyway, I have a question;

I’ve got an HTC Desire on a Vodafone contract. I’m going on a cruise visiting Holland, Germany and Norway. I’m looking for the best way to use the phone to it’s maximum while I’m away but I’m aware that many of the apps seem to use a lot of data, e.g. Google Maps. I’m not too bothered about texting and making calls.

Vodafone do a scheme called Passport which charges data at £1 for each MB up to 5MB per day, then £5 for every 5MB after that (within Europe).

Do you know of a cheaper way to get data when roaming?

Hi ya
First of all i just wanted to say what a great job you guys are doing on the MobileTechAddics podcast.
I'm looking to upgrade my phone and am a little torn between phones.
Currently I have an iPhone 3G running iOS4 and boy is it slow.
The main important things in order for me are:
Battery Life (i'm a mid user mainly using data (over wifi 70% of the time) for about 1-2 hours a day. Occasional call and text too.(maybe 1 or 2 a day)
Size - It needs to fit in my pocket and the iphone is about the right size i'm looking to go for.
Play music (mainly podcasts)
A decent web browser and the ability to install apps.
I'm currently thinking of making the switch from the iphone to android.
The phone that's most impressed me is the HTC desire.
I'm also considering the Samsung Galaxy S.
As people who have used these two and the new iPhone 4 which would you recommend for my use?
My only concern about the Desire/Galaxy S is the battery life(i'm not really sure what it's like)
